    RECIPE #1 – Raisin oatmeal recipe

    Ingredients: ( for #1 – raisin oatmeal )
    1/4 cup – oats
    1 tbsp – raisin
    1 tsp – pistachio ( powdered ) or almond
    1 cup – milk
    1/2 tsp – honey ( or 1/2 tsp raw sugar)

    RECIPE #2 – Dosa & tomato chutney recipe

    Ingredients: ( for tomato chutney)
    1 tbsp – oil
    1/4 tsp – mustard seeds
    pinch – cumin seeds
    2 – dried red chilli ( whole )
    1 – garlic ( chopped or crushed)
    pinch – asafoetida ( hing )
    1 sprig – curry leaves
    1 – onion (chopped)
    5 – tomatoes
    1/4 tsp – turmeric powder
    1/4 tsp – chilli powder
    salt to taste

    Ingredients: ( for dosa )

    RECIPE #4 – Rava upma recipe

    Ingredients: ( for #4 – rava(sooji) upma )

    1 tbsp – ghee
    1/2 cup – rava ( roasted rava / sooji / semolina )
    1 cup – water
    salt to taste
    2 – tomato ( chopped)
    1/2 tsp – ginger garlic paste
    pinch – asafoetida (hing)
    1 green chilli
    1 sprig curryleaves
    1/4 tsp – mustard seeds
    Spices:
    1/4 tsp – turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp – chilli powder,
    1/2 tsp – coriander powder, 1/4 tsp – cumin powder,
    1/4 tsp – pepper powder

    RECIPE #5 – Egg ( boiled & omlet )

    Boiled egg:
    ( Serve 1 egg for 2+ toddlers & kids )
    Cut hard boiled eggs into small pieces
    Add a pinch of salt & pepper.. and serve warm

    Omlet
    Beat 1 egg with a pinch of salt & pepper
    Heat a pan and add some oil or butter
    Pour the beaten egg and cook untilΒ  the top looks cooked
    Flip and make plain omlet .. or top with cheese slice and let it melt
    Take out.. cut and serve for 2 – 5 year kids..

    RECIPE #6 – Spinach(palak) paratha

    Ingredients: ( for #6 – spinach paratha )

    1 cup – wheat flour ( atta )
    1 cup – spinach ( finely chopped )
    1 tbsp – ghee
    1 garlic – crushed ( small garlic or a small piece)
    1/4 tsp – salt
    water (as needed to make a soft dough )
    oil ( 1 tsp – to coat the dough & 2 tsp for cooking paratha)

    RECIPE #7 – Appam (pancake) recipe

    Ingredients: ( to make appam )

    1/4 tsp – raw sugar ( to sprinkle over appam)

    RECIPE #8 – Rava idli & coconut chutney

    Ingredients: ( for rava idli)
    1 cup – semolina (idli rava)
    1 tbsp – ghee
    1 cup – yogurt (thick)
    1/4 tsp – mustard seeds
    1 tsp – urad dal
    1 tsp – chana dal
    1/2 tsp – ginger (crushed)
    1 tbsp – coriander leaves
    1 tbsp – coconut
    1/4 cup – water
    1/4 cup – cashews (chopped)
    1/4 tsp – salt

    Ingredients: ( for coconut chutney)
    1 cup – coconut
    1/4 tsp – ginger
    1/4 tsp – cumin seeds
    1 tbsp – coriander leaves
    5 – shallots (small onion) or 1 tbsp onion
    1 cup – water
    tiny piece – tamarind ( or 1/2 tsp lemon juice)
    salt to taste
    For tadka/garnish:
    2 tsp – oil
    1/4 tsp – mustard seeds,
    some curry leaves
    1 dried red chilli

    RECIPE #9 – Bread butter jam

    Ingredients: ( for #9 – bread butter jam )
    1 or 2 – bread slices ( multigrain/ wholemeal/ wheat )
    1 tsp – butter
    1 tsp – jam

    RECIPE #10 – Poha (aval) porridge

    Ingredients: ( for #10 – Poha (aval) porridge )
    1/4 cup – poha ( I used β€˜ brown aval / poha β€˜ )
    1 cup – milk
    1 tsp – crushed cashew ( or almonds)
    1/2 tsp – raw sugar ( or jaggery )

    Hi…You have given good Ideas for breakfast for Toddlers… But I don't think it will work out… As mostly toddlers are fussy and not very much comfortable to try new stuff.. I think you are lucky that your child is an exception for this..

    Hi dear, my 2 yo son refuses to eat everything except plain rice added with a tsp of ghee and pinch of salt.. he eats the same throughout the day. I'm really worried about his health as he is not eating or drinking health juices or shakes. Plz help
