    there's literally no point adding oil to the pasta water since you let it sit afterwards anyway. save that extra 40kcal on something else.(like adding a side of a chopped tomato and some lettuce with a spritz of lemon juice on the side) , and add some water to your sauce, reheat spaghetti in it, so it will absorb all the flavour. much better option 🙂

    in the second meal -if you substitute chickpeas for green lentils.. you'd probably be able to eat like 200g of lentils before you hit the same calorific benchmark as that amount of chickpeas.

    I can accept if u put past cooling while preparing sauce.What I don't understand is why not mixing and warming up both pasta and sauce TOGETHER later! If u forget pasta and then , after several minutes, just add sauce to cover it up, u'll never be able to thicken the dish.
