    There is a misconception out there.  Not ALL processed food is inherently bad for you. Look at the label.  There is nothing wrong with nut butters, or oil, the occasional protein shake, or steel cut oatmeal, or egg whites, or yogurt – and those are all processed foods.  The key is to make whole foods the main part of your diet.  Not eating canned meats, pasta, breads, pre-made pizzas, frozen dinners, chips, granola bars, that sort of thing.
