In the atheist government countries, the government don't give a shit about your religion, you can follow any religion you want, report or not is not important. Atheist In my country is mean they do believe in after life ( or not), but they also don't believe in the prophets (Jesus, Buddha) they just learn way to live a better life from religions, not the faith in some one (Jesus / Buddha), they believe in the system of the universe (and there's no gods controlling it). I'm one of them.

I am curious as to why Buddhist is classified as a religion ? What are the elements necessary for a practice (not belief) but for a practice to be classified as a religion ? If I practice giving reverence to the Song Bird or the Majestic Oak Tree… reverence for the loyalty, compassion, friendship exhibited by one's 2,4, or more legged companions'… is there no credibility because i haven't acknowledged a belief in a "God" ? Why is a belief handed down in books held with more credibility than the practice I've just described ? Whats more valuable, friendship or txt written in a book ? I don't know man, a world steeped with in the religious, is one that would feel like hell itself.
(If I may use the religious given idea of a "hell". thank you very much !*!)

Why do you mention Japan and China? Those are not the countries whose religion is in decline. East Asian countries like Japan, China, and korea are traditionally the land atheists are dominant(confusianism is not a religion)

Always fun to remind myself that nearly 90% of the people are mental invalids for believing in magical creatures because they're scared to die or whatever.

How about mentioning that Islam is a religion you cannot leave (it is a death pentalty for that), and that you are born into it, different from Christians who have rituals where young adults can choose to be a part of it. This should be seen as an important part of the growth of Islam.
