God Bless You Skins.  I hope that you continuing to have a spiritual relationship with God at this time, and also I pray that you are having a meaning prayer life.  May you always walk side-by-side with Jesus and rest in His love, His guidance, and His protection.  Amen.

Many times in the writings of EGW she used the the phrase "the Lord showed me or God showed me." She has always been considered "a continuing and authoritative source of truth." She said that she is "more than a prophet." And over the years almost all those in the Church who spoke of her said that she speaks with a prophetic voice.

EGW personally prophesied at least 5 different times the personal visible return of Christ in her lifetime and twice gave dates . When the event did not occur on Oct. 22, 1844, she said that His return was "invisible" and that He simply changed locations in the heavenly sanctuary to finish the work of atonement which was not finished on the cross. Now I have a further problem as a result of her speaking with a "prophetic voice", as the writers say of her.

The Scripture says, when speaking of Christ's return, "no man knows the day or the hour, not even the Son of man"………The Scripture also says that when Jesus comes that "every eye shall see Him …….and that He will come in "like manner" in which he left. I am totally unaware of any such thing as an invisible return of Jesus in Scripture. She also said that in 1844, Jesus , as EGW said, went into the holy of holies to the Father's right hand "for the very first time" on Oct. 22, 1844. I find at least 24 references in the Scripture that on His ascension, Jesus went immediately into the Father's presence and to His Father's "right hand." Stephen even testified as an eye witness to this fact as he was being killed for his faith. Am I being silly when I suggest that the Father was in one compartment of the sanctuary and that Jesus was in another and they were holding hands under the curtain until 1844.Heb 6:19-20

    19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
This event happened at the ascension of Jesus to the Father's right hand It is viewed in the past tense here and not in 1844. and the same word for veil that is used in the rest of the New Testament to speak of the separating curtain in the tabernacle and temple is the same word here.

Does not a true prophet of God have to tell the truth every single time and prophecy correctly every single time in order to avoid being stoned? I am trying to be fair and hold anyone who claims to speak for God to the same standard. Have I missed something here?

Looking forward to your reply, Bob Koivisto

SDA 1863 "man made" church preaches the "harlot to the nations" is the ONE and ONLY established Church of Jesus Christ being the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH.  Ezekiel 23:30.  GOD says "who" is the "harlot to the nations"???   Which one is clearly lying and you should not be trusted with any Scriptural or historical information???

    Q. If prayer makes a difference, why do folks have to give your church money?
Why don't you just pray for money for your church and your large house, pastor?
Surely imaginary sky-jesus will simply mail some to you?

Praise the lord! May God bless you Mark Finley. Your sermons are so spirit filled and are such blessings. Stay connected to the father up above as you know the enemy hates people that declare "Thus saith the Lord:

Yes, Mr Finlay, prayer accomplishes much, but trust and sanctified OBEDIENCE has to go hand in hand with prayer and faith.  That is what sanctification is all about, and without it we won't be ready for the Close of Probation.  You are only preaching half a message if you don't preach the necessity for obedience.

Pray for Mark Finley. Not only is he joining with men like Nielson, he is STANDING in prayer just as the Roman prelates and Pagans of old have done for eons.

Standing in prayer is a sign of a Roman who mocks the Lord. Both Scripture and SOP
declares we must be on our knees when seeking the Lord in prayer. Yes, it’s
understood we can pray as we walk down a lane in the woods.. driving in our
cars.. or even sitting in school before taking a test. But when we stand as
pastors who are called to lead by example, and worse yet it is Sabbath day when
we are delivering a sermon, we MUST be on our knees!

    Solomon kneeled in prayer
2Chronicles 6:13, "For Solomon had made a brasen scaffold, of five cubits
long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst
of the court: and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees before all
the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven,"
    Daniel kneeled in prayer
Daniel 6:10, "Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his
house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled
upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God,
    as he did aforetime."
    Many kneeled before Jesus
Mark 10:17, "And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running,
and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit
    eternal life?"
    Jesus kneels in prayer
Luke 22:41, "And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled
    down, and prayed,"
    Stephen kneeled in prayer
Acts 7:60, "And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not
this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep."
    Peter kneeled in prayer
Acts 9:40, "But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and
turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when
she saw Peter, she sat up."
    Paul kneeled in prayer
Acts 20:36, "And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them
Yet it is a rare thing to see SDA ministers
kneeling in prayer? A few of MANY SOP references on this is…
"One who has been educated for about five years in Battle Creek was asked to lead in
prayer before Sister White should speak to the people. But as I beheld him standing
upright upon his feet while his lips were about to open in prayer to God,
my soul was stirred within me to give him an open rebuke. Calling
him by name, I said, “Get down upon your knees.” This is the
proper position always." -Notebook Leaflets from the Elmshaven Library,
    vol. 1, Page 119

"Both in public and in private worship, it is our
privilege to bow on our knees before the Lord when we offer our petitions to
Him. Jesus, our example, "kneeled down, and prayed." [LUKE 22:41.] Of
His disciples it is recorded that they, too, "kneeled down, and
prayed." [ACTS 9:40; 20:36, 21:5.] Paul declared, "I bow my knees
unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." [EPH. 3:14.] In confessing
before God the sins of Israel, Ezra knelt. [SEE EZRA 9:5.] Daniel "kneeled
upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his
    God." [DAN. 6:10.]  {GW 178.2}

True reverence for God is inspired
by a sense of His infinite greatness and a realization of His presence. With
this sense of the Unseen, every heart should be deeply impressed. The hour and
place of prayer are sacred, because God is there; and as reverence is
manifested in attitude and demeanor, the feeling that inspires it will be
deepened. "Holy and reverend is His name," [PS. 111:9.] the psalmist
declares. Angels, when they speak that name, veil their faces. With what
reverence, then, should we, who are fallen and sinful, take it upon our
    lips!  {GW 178.3}
The SDA church no longer keeps God’s law. They have MANY SDA churches keeping
Sunday holy as well as embracing same sex marriage, Allah is god and a host of
other sinful acts. Jesus would NEVER declare we must stay in apostasy! In fact,
there are MANY passages confirming His will on this.
